About

BIOGRAPHY

I am a psychotherapist with my own practice in Vienna trained in Body Psychotherapy, Integrative Gestalttherapy, teacher for Art Therapy, further training in Trauma Therapy, analytical Psychotherapy. Born in Poland, I have graduated there in education and language sciences, then I moved to Austria where I continued my education at the University of Vienna. As a member of the International Advisory Board of the journal “Energy & Character” I was publishing on topics attachment, spirituality, gestalt-and body psychotherapy and prenatal attachment.

The focus of my work became pre- and perinatal space of human development. My clinical work led me to the theses of identity forming process already beginning in the womb. Thus I created my own integrative method of therapy named PPP. My concept of Bipolar Self underlines the significance of attachment in the development of human identity; thus the theoretical foundation of PPP is the theory of prenatal attachment, so called “Essential” and “Interpersonal Bonding” (english publications: Int. Journal of Psychotherapy, 2001, Int. Journal of Biosynthesis, 2001, 2002 – Int. Journal of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine, 2008).

My therapeutic activity is focused on confrontation with the client's resistance against the own creativity in order to release the power of life potential. This often implies the recovery of pre- and perinatal traumatisation (birth- and prebirth trauma). Such early experiences are stored within an “implicite memory”, which requires special knowledge and techniques of introspection, which I introduce in publications, delivering lectures, giving seminars and leading projects in Austria and abroad (Germany, Italy, Poland, Ukraine). As an active member of the ISPPM I am engaged in spreading knowledge about pre- and perinatal psychology and psychotherapy.
